golden retrievers?
Hey guys, i have a friend of mine that wants a hunting dog/good family dog. he wants a lab but i think he and his wife are settling on a golden retriever. i have a golden and is extremely smart and is hell on wheels in a dry field... he just doesn't do "great" in the water. do any of you know of any " hunting bred" golden retrievers that he could look into? thanks for the input!

Field bred Goldens that are first rate. I have one, and he's an excellent water dog, even on all-age level water blinds.

Re: golden retrievers?
I am on my second Topbrass Golden and have been very pleased with them. The first picture is a 63 lb female and the second a 51 lb female. They have the "true" Golden coat, so water didn't slow them down at all.Gulfcoast wrote:Jackie Mertens at Top Brass. http://www.topbrass-retrievers.com/ Top notch goldens.
