Re: Ole Miss
So did State, just saying not that big of a deal not sure why Ole Miss fans get so excited about it. I think Georgia may have had some one on all 4 teams as well.

and i saw a pic this morning of the new MSU billboard going up that shows your 2 bench warmers for the superbowl...
looks like your marketing department thinks its a big deal

for exmaple you could kill a 4 greenheads (two banded), a mallard/black cross, and a mallard/gaddy cross and smash a hot blonde on the way back to the ramp and call it a hell of a day

Yes, Dixon is a benchwarmer. McPhee, on other hand, is not.ScottyLee wrote:mshunter77 wrote:So did State, just saying not that big of a deal not sure why Ole Miss fans get so excited about it. I think Georgia may have had some one on all 4 teams as well.

Re: Ole Miss
Surely you are not saying they are 100% not in the Super Bowl because they went to MS State instead of Old Miss....nothing to do with the team as a whole at all. Yall Old Miss faggots kill me with some of the shizz yall come up with.
Re: Ole Miss
absolutely not... seems your buddy corrected me that one of the players actually gets valuable playing time, and proved my point that one of them didn't..deltadukman wrote:Surely you are not saying they are 100% not in the Super Bowl because they went to MS State instead of Old Miss....nothing to do with the team as a whole at all. i'm happy to see any kids from MS represent our state well on biggest stage of all sports. just wasn't 100% correct on both players being irrelevant to their current squads.
TIA

Re: Ole Miss
Main thing I take awy from this is that it shows the caliber of SEC players. I know State and Ole Miss had a player on all four teams playing this past weekend also I think UGA did. Bama had former players on three of the teams I think with a total of six I know LSU had some on two of the teams maybe three. Point is I don't think any Ole Miss fans or State fans would argue wih me that either team has been wildly successful in the past 10 years but yet still had former players on each team, also UGA has been good but has not won any type of championship and still had players on all the teams. Just shows how good the talent is in the SEC.
Did some research and the SEC had 43 former players active for games this past weekend(not counting A&M and Mizzou or injured players). So out of 212 43 were from the SEC that is around 20%. Pretty good percentage for only 12 schools.

All 4 may have played college ball in MS, but I believe the "benchwarmer" is the only one actually from MS.ScottyLee wrote:absolutely not... seems your buddy corrected me that one of the players actually gets valuable playing time, and proved my point that one of them didn't..deltadukman wrote:Surely you are not saying they are 100% not in the Super Bowl because they went to MS State instead of Old Miss....nothing to do with the team as a whole at all.
