SBE2 recoil pad came off...

Damn $1600 shotgun and they can't design a recoil pad that will stay on? It must have fallen off between my truck and my spot to hunt. I ended up shoving a my neck gaiter in the end of the stock.....and killed 3 woodies with 3 shells. Still pisses me off though..

common on the older model sbe2... a new pad or electrical taping the older one will work...

I have had the same problem with my M2. The stocks with the rubber in them are terrible if you hunt often and get them wet!

I've got several of the comfortech recoil pads that are brand new I'll sell anyone looking.

I actually think I have 1 short pad for a right handed shooter. I only have 3 or 4 total. Ill have to check and see....

I only have 1 regular for a Right handed shooter, and 2 thick ones, one for right and one for left handed shooters.....

Just call customer service and they'll ship you one for free. It happend to me last year.

Did that. They are out of stock which tells me I'm not the first one to be calling about this. The place I bought the gun got in touch wtih the Benelli rep and he's sending one out to me at no cost so that's making me feel better.

Yes they are junk. Made the mistake of getting a Super Nova, lost about 3 pads off of that and it quit shooting during the first season.

Got a SBE II and lost 2 pads, comfortech is junk. The "chevrons" are bulging out and the cheek pad flips up after a few rounds. After 3 seasons the guns still shoots well though, just the stock and recoil pad is junk.

Looking for an aftermarket stock without the comfortech and a recoil pad that will stay on. Any suggestions?
