Surveillance Camera

Postby bigbeeducker » Tue Jan 29, 2013 10:22 pm

Got some caregivers my Grandparents are paying good money stealing pain pills from them. I will catch them. Anybody can suggest a discreet camera I can set these fools up with?
When I catch em I will post the pics here.

Talk to a security company. Have a friend in the business, and he has set things like this up in the past. May be able to rent from them.

I would give it to the Police and have their butts arrested and file charges. There is one thing I can't stand is a thief and stealing from old folks and Kids are the worst in my book

If you have a camera on your laptop (for video conferencing) it can be set up to run on motion (at least on a Mac). Had the same problem with an employee. Worked like a charm.

Will send you text alerts when motion is detected and you can immediately view the video.

Obviously if they are stealing from a bathroom medicine cabinet the laptop may be a little obvious. Was pretty cool though.

Can't vouch for either but they have good reviews. The smoke detector would probably be better, but you have to hook it up to a recorder.
