MS/AL Training Day
I want to thank (without calling names) EVERYONE that came out and supported our 1st training day at Ed & Sandra's Wayne co, MS grounds. Great dog work and a lot of fun was had by everyone. (RG) I just wished I had brought my Binoculars for that last blind work of the day....lol. All jokes aside, there was a lot of thought put into each concept that we trained on and time that was spent with each dog to be successful in building confidence, from puppies that was no older than just a few weeks old to some of our older dogs, we watched a 15 week old puppy make a retrieve that was over 200 yards, and so many other dogs make retrieves that looked almost impossible but with help in the field they made it look easy.
I know of 4 families that left Saturday afternoon and went and picked up their new puppies, yesterday I had videos sent me of their puppies making their first retrieves. That is what we are all about.
Right now we are looking at making this a monthly event, our next get together will be in Chatom, AL at the home of Ed & Sandra's, I'll be posting a date in a few days.
If you were not part of this last training day and would like to get involved, well all you have to do is just show up, we'll be glad to welcome you and your dog right on in.

Thanks Teddy! We had a ball. I thought Ellie Mae had the blue locked up on that blind until Marty and Gussie 2 whistled that big ugly rascal!
See y'all next month or sooner.

Teddy, glad it went well and you had a good turn out. Sorry we missed it, but I was sick all day Saturday.
Re: MS/AL Training Day
I should of marked that blind with an orange pylon instead of a pole. I think part of those dogs had never been that far from home before.
Next time Teddy announces a training day, make plans and come on out. You won't regret the setups or fellowship. (Unless we let those 2 sadistic bastards set up the marks again!)

I'd of liked to had a tape recording of the gallery when I took off across the field to meet him for a private consultation.

That's no joke, I can still see the look on the face of the little girl (like, what is he telling him?????)....hahaha
Re: MS/AL Training Day
I heard the little girl ask "Who wrote on that man with magic markers?"
