Something about those transcripts doesn't sound right. Almost like someone made them. They seem to put too much emphasis on bashing people.
I may have to eat crow later but I doubt we will ever hear the actual recordings, don't think they exist. (Rumor is that the recordings were threatened to be put on youtube)

LOL. I was thinking the same thing.

There's no way that letter is what was really taped or said. It reads too much like an amateur novel. Entertaining, though.

Yea, sounded to me like selective note taking.

i read the transcript too. I dont believe one bit of it. People trying to stir $#!+ all it is. I know the woman doing most of the talking in it and she sounds nothing like what was said. All i can say is it is getting crazy up here. $#!+ is getting ready to hit the fan.

Here are a few oddities, if you will, about the whole ordeal, from my perspective:

(1) Murder for hire is typically the jurisdiction of MS Bureau of Investigation and/or FBI...not the attorney general office...that is weird;
(2) Typically, if LE knows of a murder for hire event to take place, they make arrest as soon as possible...they do not wait for the event to take place...in essence, they don't ambush the would be killers in the act;
(3) I have heard that there was at least one sniper on a roof in downtown Greenwood while this was taking place...when LE uses a sniper, in most circumstances a perimeter is first established that would prevent civilians from wondering into a potential fire zone...this was not the case in Greenwood;
(4) How does the AGs Office even have legal jurisdiction to set up an ambush/sting of this nature in view of both local law enforcement and MBI/FBI?
(5) Did Lee Abraham have Dr. Smith's booty kicked several weeks ago?

This thing reads like a novel already...cannot wait to see how it all ends.

AG's office has law enforcement power just like any other state law enforcement agency. Jim Hood and Lee are pretty good friends.

Understood...murder for hire is certainly not their area of expertise though from what I am told.

and I thought G-wood was only interesting during duck season....

Nope. Contrary to popular belief, black people live in greenwood all year long...not just when the painted up faces from south ms and alabama show up during duck season!
