About the only time I get to read is for work. Since I think you are a college student, based on previous posts, I have a couple of suggestions.
The first is "Getting to Yes" by Robert Fisher and William Ury. It is a pretty easy read and very straight forward. It may help you in your job hunt after college.
The second is a couple of biographies that I enjoyed. First is "The Rise of Theodore Roosevelt", followed by "Theodore Rex". They're by the same author, and very informative.

Try a Robert Hitt Neil book. Great stories and great humor with the MS Delta as the setting.

We have started doing this every night for the past few weeks. No TV until the little guy goes to bed. It does free up a little more time and we spend more family time together. Doesn't free up time to read any though. Come to think of it I do read alot but it's mostly researching how to fix a server problem or write a script or rebuild a boat motor or something with practical use.

Fiction:
Patriots: A Novel of Survival in the Coming Collapse by James Wesley Rawles
I Am Legend by Richard Matheson - book the movie was loosely based on, book is WAAAYYYY better
Matterhorn by Karl Marlantes - about the Vietnam war (one of the best I've read)
The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo series - all 3 are great books
Tin Roof Blowdown, The Neon Rain, The Glass Rainbow by James Lee Burke - a whole series of about 10-12 books about Detective Dave Robicheaux, all of his stuff is set in New Iberia, LA and the surrounding area. Doesn't matter if you read them in order or not.
Military:
Lone Survivor by Marcus Luttrell - great book
Marine Sniper (of course)
American Sniper
Trigger Men
I've read most of these. Matterhorn and I am Legend are by far the best of the suggestions. Girl with the Dragon TAttoo is a bit overdone. I got so tired of hearing about how smart and crazy and sly and craft she was. You can overdevelop a character.
Other good ones are
Sanctus
Savages - really quick and about to be a movie.
Summer of Nights and Terror - Dan Simmos. Big and beefey books but good. Summer of nights is better
Wind through the Keyhole

The dummy line by bobby cole is a good book. Its on of those that once you start reading you dont want to put it down.

I'm reading "Life" right now. It's an autobiography of Keith Richards. If you like the Stones, it's a must read! The first page starts a story about them running into the law in Fordyce AR of all places. Pretty neat stuff all the way through.
