Isn't Avery Island where the Tobasco people grow their peppers or own it or somesuch?

Got a friend that gets to hunt there atleast once a year....he seems like the type that could duck hunt, in a tie, in modern day times.....

Correct. McIlhenny Company, Avery Island, Louisiana 70513
That was the founder, Mr. McIlhenny putting the bands on in the video.
Looking for 2 duck calls from Dominic Serio of Greenwood (ones for Novacaine)

Awesome video!

They do west of there ;)

I disagree. When I was a kid it was nothing to have three of us go out and kill 50 mallards in a morning in the SW corner of the state, and when my grandfather was a kid it was nothing to go down to Venice and market hunt and kill 100's of them. Due to saltwater intrusion their migration has changed. Now I can go hunt some of the finest freshwater marshes in SW LA some of which we hammered the mallards in years ago. They just don't come down here like they used to. I will say you can still kill mallards in places in SW LA, but not like it used to be, and I don't say that like there are that many less ducks they just don't come down like they used to for whatever reason.

That video is as cool as the underside of the pillow.... ahead of it's time... that's for sure.

New attire for 2012-2013 season:
shin chaps
flappy thigh riding britches
tweed coat
firmly starched shirt
topped off with a snappy brim
True gentlemen hunters. Awesome vintage video.
