I have the mudlights xl on my 700 grizzly. I have over 3000 miles on them and are not wearing bad at all. Will really go thru mud and ride decent. I have the xtr's on my 800 ranger. I just put my factory wheels back on cuz one has a hole in it and told it was about shot. I have 3600 miles on them and they have a decent amount of tread left but they have worn a lot. They do get used a lot on the pavement also. I have been happy with both sets of tires and will probably go back with the same thing. All of my friends are running the 27x9 front and 27x11 xtr's on back as well.

If you are in the "Po' Boy" area, I would say no tires at all is a good choice. Unless of course, you want that junk to take your tires off and call you a panty-wearing girly boy bitch.
I really think turf tires are your best bet there.
But then again, nothing goes anywhere in red hills clay pits.

I really like these tires on my Commander.. They pull really well, and as long as you dont bottom out first theyre gonna find the bottom of the hole quick!

I've had all different types and my favorites have been my ITP 589's. I've had the same set on my grizzly since 2006 and they still look like I just put them on there. They're a much smoother ride than most I've had and I've never gotten stuck with them.

So far I've had ITP mud lites, Kenda executioners, maxxis bighorns, maxxis zillas, and maxxis mud bugs. For all around riding the bighorns were the best, but for mud I like the mud bugs due to them being tough and pulling great through the mud. The only down side to them is that they run a little small so get a size larger than you wanted. I got 26" and wished I had ordered 27".
Also the ITP 589s are a great tire too, but again they do run a size smaller than advertised.
