The irony of that speech is layered and amazing:
(1) No one knows where he is getting that 90% figure;
(2) He called gun groups (gun owners) liars;
(3) Gallup released a poll yesterday morning that actually says that 4% of the population feels gun control is an important problem...

(4) once again, Obama is straight-up lying to the American public while at the same time calling gun groups/owners the liars.
You just cannot make that kind of stuff up.
I have never been a fan of his, but my distain for him hit an all-time high hearing him scold a large majority of the country yesterday. He is without a doubt the worst president this nation has ever seen in my opinion.

I remember seeing a guy that used to work with Obama at the University of Chicago and he said that whenever he talked to Obama about guns he said that no one should own guns and BO would get pissed about the whole idea of people owning guns......after seeing him whining and crying and talking down to most of the country yesterday I think it's pretty clear that the guy that worked with BO at Univ of Chicago was spot on.

I was not that worried about the bill.. It was a VERY watered down bill and really would not have made an impact on anyone buying guns. I am all for background checks, and think every responsible gun owner should want to know that a person they are selling a gun to is ok to own one.. In fact I see more and more people asking for bill's of sale and Carry permits before they sell to an indivdual....
What makes me mad as HELL is all these politicians that try and use the Sandyhook thing to push thier agendas, even when what they are pushing would not have stopped the tragedy..

What I am sick of hearing from these liberal azzhats is
"I don't understand why you aren't for background checks. Nobody wants to take away your guns. In fact I've been wanting to get a 22 but they are SOOOO hard to find and you can't even get any bullets for them. I actually like guns."
I just want to punch them in the face. You're exactly the kind of dimwitted f-ucn-ut that DOESN'T need a firearm! If'n your first firearm was purchased in your 'hipster' phase while approaching your mid thirties, and the only time you've ever "fired off a few rounds" was when that redneck neighbor let you shoot his BB gun, please don't buy a gun.....

Me too....what they have proposed wouldn't have changed anything with Sandy Hook. Lanza's mom bought the guns legally and had a background check - her crazy son kills her and steals the guns then goes to the school.
I heard there were thousands of arrests last year for possesing illegal guns in Chicago but only a couple hundred were prosecuted.
