Great game but, we got lucky... Vandy dropped 3 easy pics and about ten passes. We need a serious ground game to help keep pressure off Bo. O line was very porous but may get better as they play together more. Vandy only had one real good corner which left Treadwell open a lot - not taking away from Treadwell's obvious ability and maturity, he's grown. Kicking game is going to haunt us I think but maybe it's just jitters.
On the plus side, Scott is still fast and tough, defense still hitting like Mike Tyson, Robert N is a freak of nature and Tony Connor also played way above his pay grade. If we can give Bo some time and tempo, we have the best receiving corps I've seen in a while.
Rebs appeared to be better conditioned, although they were all sucking wind in the 4th. We did get one helpful PI call that I thought was iffy, but I also think Vandy got away with a blatant one so call that a draw.
Good to have an SEC win to get started with.
