0 for 9 with bases loaded for the weekend.
Friday night:
Bottom of the eighth, bases loaded and no outs= 3 strikeouts
Bottom of the ninth, bases loaded and one out = no runs
Sunday afternoon:
Bottom of the 12th, and no outs = after 2 outs (a pop-up and a weak grounder to SS) it takes a walk to get a runner home.
MSU will never get out a regional!

This part right here blew my mind Friday night. We need to sell those damn bats and buy tennis rackets. We couldn't hit a watermelon if it was underhanded over the plate.
I've never seen anything like it in my life. Its bad when you can call whose gonna strikeout before they ever even step into the box. My only hope is that they hit a streak here soon but it needs to happen quick.

We finished right about where we should have....a regional team, if lucky a super regional team. We were not lucky thus a regional is as far as we got. Still a good solid foundation coming back next season. Bulldog baseball will compete very well again next year. We need that chip on our shoulder again. Too many times it seemed we may have been too layed back this season and not playing with enough urgency and intensity. I know good baseball is played when loose yet focused....it is a fine line to be relaxed and ready all at the same time. We seemed to be too loose at times and other times seemed to be pressing. I thought experience would be very helpful in the post season and it probably was. You just do not jump up and replace the #s that Frazier, Renfroe, Girardo, etc contributed in last season's run.
