This is the interesting part.
The football investigation also has been ongoing for more than a year, multiple sources said.
Now, probably nothing to see here, but 12 months and counting on a football investigation can't be a good thing. And the biggest part is this ... A little over a year ago, many on this site said it was NOT happening. That proves some posters wrong, some that personally ridiculed others that implied it WAS happening. I doubt they'll eat their crow.
EsJay, what's the latest on J Whitehead?
Whitehead is still suspended. I'm being told that he will return against MSU (assuming he behaves). Hard for those Greenwood boys to do! CGM did the right thing in my opinion. Is he somehow tied up in this "investigstion"?
On another note, the red elephant club was 100% behind the "timing" of the ole miss under investigation article. that's how they rollllllllll

I tried to let it go.
EsJay, Whitehead was a recruit Nutt knew he had locked up. Timing of this news relative to his suspension has some speculators trying to connect the dots. Who knows?

So his suspension due to a verbal altercation with a coach is all just a cover up? those sneaky bastages! Look for a Pete Thamel artical to be released tomorrow!
