I pressed the issue more than you all.

Joel, I couldn't agree with you more! It was never this commissioners intent to make a refuge out of navigable waters on 6 Mile. The private property being gifted to the state has a requirement of being a refuge and that should not be a problem as it was private property to begin with and not open to the public.
To which I replied.

And I agree. But, the fact that Delbert had the DEQ executive director, Gary Rikard (gary_rikard@deq.state.ms.us), redefine the banks from the 2001 case that involved him (CREELY v. HOSEMANN, NO. 2003-CA-02353-SCT), changes where those navigable waters are set. If you talk with the Gary I think you will find him a little remorseful that he didn’t take that task to the DEQ commission rather than do that himself.

Thanks,
Joel
He even replied to that.

I have spoken to Gary at length. I believe in the end the waters will stay open to hunt!

Nice work Joel. I'm glad they're having dialog with you and not just auto-reply.

Thanks

I really think that no one from, The Nature Conservacy, MDEQ or MDWFP knew the whole truth about this diabolical scheme. Knowing the whole truth, how could this be good for anyone but the ones that would benefit from a buffer from public use?
