Yeah I knew the State only had the one, that's why I mentioned all the agencies, it isn't one or the other, it's all of them, and I work for one. we always have this discussion, but just seems that sometimes the money is spent in areas where it may not have been best used. I know budgets are shrinking and hiring is hard etc.. believe me. but damn..

You're right, never will everyone be happy.

to me it doesn't matter anyway, I have all but quit duck hunting and don't hardly deer hunt on the Forest but maybe a few times with my old man a year. At this point it doesn't make a hill of beans to me.

Got setters or pointers??
WILD!

I ain't done anything, sorry to say, other than paying for my license, membership dues, etc.

For some reason, in my part of the world, the quail have made a comeback. I don't know what it is, but I might be able to hunt something other than woodcock with the pup this year.

I've got a German Shorthair. English Setter is what I want next...

Why is the limit still 8 on quail?

Reason I ask, I know of several coveys in delta. The land owner does a good job popping yotes and such but even his numbers won't support a 8 man limit. Curious
