when I was at State, we used ice and salt.......will freeze a beer in 10 minutes.....in the winter I drove a MGB....it had a spot in front of the radiator that would hold a 12 pack....the drive from the grocery store to home would put a chill on the beer.....man, this brings back some memories..
oh, you can also follow the coors truck...it use to come cold shipped

HFG>Oxford is the same way I think.
West Point makes some $$$ off the Mississippi State crowd. They've got cold beer, they sell on Sunday, and now they've got the Hwy. 45 Performing Arts Center just of the Hwy 82 and 45 intersection.
If you watch, some of the stores will leave the front door open in the winter time with the beer right in front of it, so even though they haven't put it in a freezer, it's pretty doggone cold. Do your scouting when cold weather comes!

It's a conspiracy, the owners of one of the major beer distributors in Starkville also owns an Ice company there, do you think they wanna sell cold bere...heck naw, they've got a vested interest in selling warm beer
Anyway, when the vote came a couple of years back to allow the sales of cold beer in convenience/grocery stores. They didn't support it, and neither did the restuarant/bar owners.

The bar owners didn't want to support it because they are making a killing off the warm beer saga in starkville.......

"a couple of cases of Natty light necks, in the frozen pizza section"... "ice and salt.......will freeze a beer in 10 minutes"... "catch the Bud Light truck at 7am"... "follow the coors truck...it use to come cold shipped"... who says you don't learn anything important in college?!
I guess it's true... necessity is the mother of invention. I particularly like the "spot in front of the radiator" trick.
