Hevi-shot 3 inch #4 high velocity.

If I hunted where there are ducks I may use something cheaper. Don't get alot of shooting here in East MS. If you average two shots a hunt its affordable.

I have used the high velocity 3 inch #4 winchesters with success.

I'll have to agree with ol Don Miller ----for the money, I like those Kent Fasteel 3 1/2 inch #3 shot. Ain't no hole in my pattern with these shells using my ol scatter buster Mossberg 835, 28 inch barrell, with full choke. Kills em graveyard dead. After patterning several shot loads of different brands, including Winchester Drylocks, the Kent's produced the best pattern in my gun. OF course, every gun make shoots a little different. You just have to experiment and find out which brand and shot size works for you. If you're killin ducks with what you are shootin, no need to change a thing.

drylok 3 1/2" BB's or #2's. nough said!!!! never had a single problem. don't get kent!!!!!!!!!!!!! When they got wet, I had a lot of "poofs" where the pellets barely made it out of the end of the barrel and then fell in the water in front of me. It left the wad in my barrel, too, and I had to take my gun apart in the blind to get the wad out before shooting.

I also like the kent 3.5s.

BTW, I tried some Tungsten this past wknd and was unimpressed with it. It knocked the birds down but not graveyard like I like...of course they were 2 3/4 inch shells...but they definately did out perform the Kent 3.5s I normally shoot.

Anything but those damnable green shells!!!!! Remington makes great guns, but absolutely chitty shotgun shells. Had so many of them misfire, I'd rather not hunt than put one of those goddamned green shells in my gun even again.

Try the new heavy steel. I don't know who makes them but they have a mallard on the box and have our little brother written on the bottom of the box. 25 % longer range than steel. I've started using them this year and they get the job done. They are priced at 18.00 per box for a box of 25 ea. The 3" No. 4's shoot like a 2-3/4" No. 4 lead shot. I've been really impressed with them.

I forgot to mention that the 3" heavy steel will not shoot in the Binelli or beretta 3" chambered guns. These shells are longer than most 3" shells.
