That is some good insight on both parts, but I tend to agree that DU should take a bigger picture approach to growing the duck population which would include PM. The organization is Ducks Unlimited not Wetlands Unlimited or DUck Habitat Unlimited. Habitat restoration should get the lions share, but other issues should get some attention as they arise.

Im not kocking DU for what they have done and what they stand for. No other organization has had as big of an impact on waterfowl than DU ever.
I am a long time member and an area chairman for 4 years. Thrugh that the perception to a lot of contributors at banquets is that DU should do more in the PM area, so lets face it, Perception i reality. The people paying the money need to have a voice or the money will eventually go away.
