the katrina athletic fund goes to all UMAA students families who were affected by the storm, there's something like 51 or so at last count if i'm not mistaken, many who lost everything, the money left over will be given to non-athletes affected by the storm. Not a bad cause if you ask me personally, this is on top of everything the school has already done for it's students in raising money and supplies.

Looks and smells like an NCAA violation to me. I know the spirit is right, but . . . No different than giving an athlete money for airfare to attend a family member's funeral. It'll come up.

Good. I'd get approval in writing on the front end. Some peepee will try to make a big deal out of it. I'm for it, just needs to be cleared up.
