stang it true, I use to check all those IP camps in Rodney. When the fellow bought all that land it displaced alot of hunters and I mean alot.

Its ridiculous what he has done! There have been a lot of hunters that had some NICE places to hunt and spend time outdoors misplaced now cause one man wants to own a lot of land! And its not like this was thousands of acres of plantation pines, this is river bottomland that had duck hunting, froggin, 4 wheeler ridin, fishing, etc, etc. Now many people lost all those privilages to enjoy those activities. One man now has all that! Im not writing this to argue cause im not! Its my opinion and an opinion only. I think it sucks though......

hahaha Well thanks, I didnt list em in any particular order, hell, I didnt even list deer huntin, now that i go back and read it. You get the point though......Its senseless for 1 person to own THAT much land and not at least lease some out for hunting clubs or something.....

I totally agree too. Either a SERIOUS treehugger or just someone that has too much money. Nobody needs thats much land. I know several people that have 10,000 acres in one block, and even THAT"S too much land to manage properly.

this guy needs a swift kick to the groin area, you a guy that has that much land and doesn't hunt, would be pretty easy to poach on his land

It sucks for the rest of us but this guy does not seem to be a bad guy. How does one acquire this much money you ask. He sold his oil exploration company for $750 million. What would you do with all of that money I ask? I it was me I would buy up all of the river bottom between Natchez and Rodney.

Come on, it's HIS money and if he wants to spend it on that land and the land owners want to sell it, what's your problem with it?? Because he won't lease it?? It's HIS land to use as he pleases. If you wanted to use that land you should have bought it.

Do you know about a Springhill hunting club? They have signs up all over the hills below our camp, and I have never heard of who hunts it. I was told that it may have been IP land at one time. We are a few miles from the river bottom, and this club has land in the bottom, too. Must be pretty big.
