if we get some good rains, and the water rises the beavers should return. I have been killing beavers since I was big enough to hold a gun, and you will never get rid of the beavers. You may temporarily thin them out, but it seems for everyone you kill, two takes its place. If you had beavers one time, when conditions are right they will return.

If there were ever beavers there, they will be back....They probably need some water to work with (rain), like the rest of 'em.
Sound familiar?

I had a field one time that was drained by a 18" pipe. I knew if I could get that pipe plugged up that I would have some birds. First I took a hefty garbage bag and slid it over the end then sealed it up with LOTS of mud making sure to seal the 'seam' where the bag ended and the pipe began. Then I went over that with a piece of plywood big enough to completely cover the end of the pipe, then more and more mud, shovel and stomp, shovel and stomp. One big rain and I had 15 acres of water. This is a NASTY job and is best done when you don't have anywhere to be later as most jobs concerning mud and water will invariably take more time than you actually planned for. Good luck and take a couple six packs.............
