You shoulda been up there close whan that happened. He kinda came out of his shell, so to speak. But it illustrated the importance of timing and precision in the drills. That was a long drill and it took some time to set up. Missing is not what he was p-o'd about that second time though.

lol...yea I think it was the finger that Wimpy shot back at Vince about the third time Vince hit that button! I would have been pissed also. I believe if it would have been me you would have heard the ol' HERE...HERE MOTHER $&%*^!!!!!!

I think the point of the drill is to get the dog to advance toward the shot flier, THEN stop the dog and cast away. As I understand it, he wants the dog to proceed on the line to the blind and see the shot flier and react to it then get handled away to the blind. Neither dog got that opportunity. Chris' dog never even glanced over. On wimpy, I don't think that the timing of the whistle stop and the flier being thrown were what Evan had in mind.

I agree and I also think EG didnt plan on wimpy refusing and ping ponging back and forth not wanting to cast back across that water.

Looking back....wonder what that would have been like without the water in it.........remember wimpy was just a little guy.......
