didn't use a guide. was fortunate enough to know some locals. as for permission, we just asked. long as you're not huntin' big game or pheasants, most folks are willing to give it to ya.

Awesome trip and pics. Seems like just yesterday, but it was well over a decade, you could knock on doors and access ducks (as long as you left the geese alone) and pheasants galore (as long as it wasn't opening weekend) on SD private property. I had three feather-hungry springers and more time than a college student. I'll be those heavy straps felt awesome.
