I don't like the way things are shaping up either. I don't see any spring fishing inside the levee for a while.

Not good at all. We found buffalo swimming across some low-lying woods roads on Saturday afternoon, when the River was around 36 at Helena. 42 is not something we need.

I saw big fish crossing a road saturday as well. Water was over knee deep and too muddy to tell what they were. I just saw the wakes. I heard they have been shooting fish in several spots already. I guess that is not too uncommon though.

I could have filled the truck up this past weekend with rough fish coming thru a culvert at my place. Definitly gonna put a damper on turkey season. Camp hasnt been under water since 97, so i guess were about due for some. Starts coming into camp at 50 on the greenville gauge, the crest right now shows 49.5 so its gonna be close. I jacked up my housetrailer this past year and am hoping im good to about 58 feet. Housetrailers and river water dont get along so good, so keepin my fingers crossed!

I just looked at the river stage closely . . . aint lookn good for the home team, especially if it keeps raining. Hatfield most definitly needs to quit cookin . . . check um out, thats a 14 foot rise at cape g

So much for my prediction by the 15th but you really had to know it was coming with the melt and rain with the river already being as high as it was!!!

if anyone has any "rough" fish that they need to get rid of, let me know. I will bowfish them out of there. :)

How often do they update the 28 day forcast? Last one I've see is from the 12 or 13th I believe.

This is gonna be fun i got a feeling. . . todays forecast has it going to 52 at greenville. The most water to my knowledge since 73 was in 97, crested at 54.5 at greenville. So this has the potential to be a big un, especially considering it's still raining. Gotta go to camp sunday, get my wheeler and $#!+ out and chain up the propane tank, floods a coming

Just talked to my buddy in Missouri and he had over 13" in his gauge and its still raining. He said this has the potential to be the 100 year flood. He said all the lakes and rivers are flooding everything up there. I am going to Lake Beulah and pulling my brothers trailer out before I can't get in.

I can assure you that it will be higher than it's showing on the guages. Note: Forecasts do not include any future rainfall..
or snow melt is not factored into the totals. You can kiss turkey season goodby if you are on the west side of the leeve. It may reach records not see in many years. On a good note people who need the fish restocked in the oxbo's and connecting waters you will get it

Jelly I was a little off on my predictions by the 15th
