Haven't been since the hurricane so I don't know if it is still there, but King Nepture's is good.

Whatever you do, do not go to the new place called the Hangout. The place looks nice, but food is horrible and the place is a joke. Trying to be Lulu's but not even close and you have to pay to park. Horrible place.

Neptunes is still there, It is probably one of the best down there too. Just a hole in the wall with good food. The seafood is great but save room and try the fried cheesecake, that stuff is gooooooood!!! It is fat boy tested and approved.

Just got back a week ago. The new place we liked is the Tin Top Rest in Bon Secour. Go North on 59 and take a left on state hwy 10. It makes a few left hand turns back thru Magnolia Springs and Mobile Bay. Local out of way place that was excellent!!

We always go to Doc's. The one near the toll road and not the "new" one. Great Gumbo!

There was some place in Florida that was pretty good, but I can't think of the name. It was right off the bridge of Perdio Bay maybe and there was a harbor located there too.

Our problem was that there had to be room for around twenty since that is where the extended family took vacations.

Try Fresh Catch, new restaurant on the main drag in front of Zeke's Marina.

I have heard that the Tin Top or Roof place previously mentioned was really good. Headed down tomorrow for a long weekend. I will give you a report if we decide to check it out.

There is a lot of new development down there now; condos, restaurants and shopping. :x They are putting in a Publix right down the road from the Bruno's and Winn-Dixie. I have a feeling that OB is going to be the next Destin in about 5-10 yrs. :? Enjoy it while we still can!

Ahhh...sorry I missed the message.
We have a condo at WhiteCaps in OB. Down there a good bit.

Did ya catch any? Water looked pretty calm all weekend.

Didn't try the Tin Top. Did eat at the Langnaippe, Tacky Jack's and Bayside. All very good.

We got some BBQ from Moe's BBQ on Friday for lunch (I know that is a sin while at the beach). It was really good. The guys that own it are from Bham and opened the first restaurant in Vail, CO. There is another location in Bham now.

Is it just me or once you get married all women look hotter, especially in Bikinis.

I agree that Tin Top is a great out the place to eat. We always eat at Felix's Fish Camp in Mobile. Great place to start your vacation eat-a-thon.
