I will donate the taters if you want to try. I have also heard of spreading blue fabric softener over your spot when it freezes over. Makes the ice look like water and they just dive in a bounce. Deadly on Gadwalls I heard.

Yeah he i bet it would not be funny when he pulls that jacket off and all you see is that gold Mississippi badge and that glock .45 on his side. Can you picture the face of the guy when he tells wingman he baited the hole and that is why they killed all 95 greenheads...

Heck forget all of that to much trouble...and you have to wait. The best lure I know and it is field tested is A picture of Me..Every Duck and Goose has been notified that if they see that Human they can land near said Human without the worry about getting steel poisoning. I am a well known as a safehaven from the artic circle to the South Pole. I will sell these 24x36 posters for the cost of mailing them.

Taders work great.............grandpappy swore by them.
Here is my question. If you have a sweet tater plot that you planted in your duck hole and harvested MOST of the taders, you know you cant get all of them there will be some left on the ground, disk it under and then in the winter as the water rises over it you hunt it. Wouldn't that be hunting over a flooded agricultural field? Same as flooded corn or rice field or soybeans, right?
I think I am going to see if I can lease me a field in Vardamen.

yeah i've done it before. we use 5 gallon bucks with lids and punch holes in the sides. We also dump a bunch of molases on top of the potatoes. We usually nail the bucket to a tree. After that stuff starts coming out, WHATEVER it gets on ducks will eat. We usually call it sweetening up a hole.
