I have the pillow top. I don't like it. But the wife loves it so what are you to do. And truth be known i could sleep on the floor ifi had to. Most of the time she is waking me up form my recliner. That thing turns me comatose. Might need to check and see if lazy boy makes a mattress. man that would be sweet.

Try out the latex mattresses. Best sleep I've had in years.

Spend some $$, you will not regret it......we purchased a Simmons that is about 12 inches with about 6 inches of pillow top about 3 years ago.......best sleep I have ever had. Just think how much time you are going to spend on your mattress everyday!

Defitily worth it to spend the money.. We got a Sealy Posturpedic over the Tempurpedic because I thought that foam thing would get HOT..
We have been very pleased with ours..

The fellows are right about spending the money. My wife and I bought a Restonic eurotop (sp) four years ago. It is essentially the same as a pillowtop. It sleeps really well but my side has caved in a little. I don't mind cause I dont move around alot but it sucks to know that I spent 1800 on a mattress that I know will need to be replaced in a few more years if it keeps sinking. I wished we would have went on and spent a little more and bought a serta or sealy.

There's been a long post on here before about this same thing. I looked for a year trying to find the right mattress. TODO is right about Troy at Factory Direct. He'll beat any price you can find anywhere on a top end mattress. We bought the high end Sealy....has memory foam, euro pillowtop, cashmere......the whole nine yards. We have the King size and got it for right under $1,000 even though retail everywhere else was over $2,000. The Tempurpedic is very comfortable but like said above.......very hot and i'm hot natured already. I tried Serta's and didn't like them. My mom just went and got a sealy like ours and now they offer firm or soft in the same model. They have either a 20 or 25 yr warranty so that if you pull a string tight across it and it sags more than 1-2 inches they'll replace it.

No, It's just time for a new mattress. You oughta see that thing. When I lay down, I look like a jumbo frank in a hotdog bun.
