Was good stuff, my 12 year old was the first to limit, had intended on him being a little late for school but he made it about the right time.
Was working around the area yesterday and saw ducks in abundance from Charleston to Webb to Parchman to Drew to Ruleville to Minter City to Phillipp to Paynes....every rice/corn/bean field looked to hold at least a few ducks, most were head down and butt up. Moist soil areas and brakes were not holding as many ducks, but reports I have heard today seem to negate that. Looks like the ducks filled up on food Wed and Thur after being frozen out of the fields for a couple of days and are now returning to some of their loafing spots. Hoping for a good hunt tomorrow on that same pattern.
