AC/DC
Re: AC/DC
Saw them in '88 or '89. When I woke up the next morning I could still hear them in my head. Stuff was falling out of the ceiling during the concert, I assumed because it was so loud. The late 80's was a great time to go to a concert. ZZ Top put on a great show in Memphis. Saw the Scorpians, Poison, Chicago, REO Speedwagon, Skid Row, Bon Jovi, Warrant, etc., etc. Always had to buy the t-shirt too

Re: AC/DC
Swag,
You and I were probably at the Memphis coliseum on numerous occasions at the same time.
Did you go there and see Bon Jovi before they were headliners? The guy that sang the song for the "Lost Boys" movie, I think his name is Jimmy Barnes, opened up first, then Bon Jovi and then the headliner was 38 Special.
Saw ZZ Top (Afterburner tour), Warrant, Skid Row/Bon Jovi (New Jersey tour I think), Whitesnake/Motley Crue (Girls, Girls, Girls tour), Mr. Mister/Heart (don't knock it! It was Heart's Bad Animals tour and they were rockin' back then!), Def Lepard and Poison all in Memphis.
Also saw Alice Cooper with the Vinnie Vincent Invasion as the opening act at a theater somewhere. It was not New Daisy, but I can't recall the location.

Yea, I do remember Motley Crue and Whitesnake. Fairly certain I saw 38 Special, but do not recall if that is when I saw Bon Jovi or not. Wish I had seen Def Leppard, but never did. Also had tickets to see Joan Jett but missed it. Heard she was very good. ACDC and ZZ Top put on great shows. Did anyone see the Black Crowes at MSU? Police showed up, ran everyone away from the amphitheatre?
