Pat Summit's great accomplishments as a college women's basketball coach, nationally and in the SEC, will likely be as appreciated on this board as a competition for the tallest midget. If it's not football related, it matters very little here unless there is controversy or scandal. Men's college basketball and baseball even take a distant backseat to football. Not saying our primary interests are wrong or misplaced, but just the way it is.

Agree. Like most on here, Women's hoops is not my primary interest, but the accomplishments of this woman is worthy of a mention even on a manly duck forum filled with jock strap Jimmy's.
She was a great teacher, mentor, competitor & winner who ultimately lost to a horrible disease way too early in life.

Msu lady hoops. She never lost to us..
Don't know how many times she beat us I'd guess
30-0 all time against Msu.
Hell we just beat ut in lady hoops for the 1st time in program history in 2016
