Back when me and R.Benz were growing up-we had a route from Pillow thru Schlater up to Glendora that we hit once a week. Many shells and quarts of beer-but that was a longggggggggggg time ago.

Did you go to Tomonelos (sp) or Boss Hoggs?

We used to tie up to grain barges on McKeller Lake early on Sunday mornings and wear the pigeons out; it was great fun and the dog would get some good off season work in, we never ate any of them. We had to quit doing it after we got cited for shooting a firearm in the city limits, but it was fun while it lasted.

Mckellar Lake is the city limits of Memphis and connects to the Mississippi River.
