Make sure you have as much mapping info as possible on your area. You will cover a lot more ground than you think chasing bulls up into higher altitudes. My biggest problem was trying to get in front of the bulls as they went back up the mountain in the mornings. If you can figure out a way to do this your odds will go way up. If you find a shelf or saddle look for wallows. If you find one with fresh sign hunt it. Also if you can I'd get a mulie tag too. I regreted not having one on several occasions. Good luck.

If its been hot & dry, park your butt on a water hole/wallow the entire time. If its wet, its all luck that time of year.
