watch yourself on that one, that's how i got to get an implant (that failed the first time so all that bone graft material had to be scraped away and new put in - nothing burns quite like a freshly scraped bone...). Fell asleep with a dip of cope and it worked its way down between my gum and tooth. festered and got infected -i'd already had 2 root canals from dr. root canal here, so that was out of the question. had to keep chipping the bone shelft to get the root out. was heavy on the nitrous o2 and extra shots for deadening and still came up out of the chair when he pulled the root from the nerve!!! if i'm in a wreck or something wrecks my mouth, that tooth (or at least the titanium post) will be the only thing left standing...

I dipped Copenhagen for 30+ years, I have not had a dip in over 2 years and do not crave it at any time. Here is the reason...God helped me..when I got saved God began to deal with me about the snuff and I prayed, prayed & prayed asking Him to help me and one day I threw it away and have not had a craving or withdrawl until this day. I do not have that kind of will power, only God in Heaven can do that. I may could have quit on my own but there would have been withdrawls and cravings. But when you give things like this to God, its gone forever, unless we choose to return to our folly and pick it up again. It is our ignorance, folly and choice that carries us back into sin and transgression. You just leave it with Him and He will remove it from your body and your mind.

3 weeks today... not as bad.. as long as im not around it i guess i'll be ok. still want it

I quit cigs. in 1981 after like 8 years of smoking. It was my 4 time to quit, but I have not had one since! No prayers, just did not want to do it any more or spend money on such a nasty habit!

wonder if the craving for another chew will EVER go away... dangit

Man this chew is good!

will be 7 weeks this coming sunday without a chew.. the craving has subsided substantially.. even cut back on the gum too.. i think im ok as long as im not around folks that chew redman. there have been times i would probably of chewed one if i had access to it.. still want one but not as bad.. i miss it

Just stay out of stressful situations... that's when I crave Copenhagen.

I quit smoking and chewing Feb. of 2007, (used Chantex) but started back chewing that Levi again about a year after that. Just being stupid and decided to start back chewing. NOW, I've got to quit the chewing again. That Levi is some good stuff!!

i thank myself everyday for not getting into any of that stuff. sunflower seeds always worked for me... original, not the BBQ

I like "salsa" flavored sunflower seeds.

You've come a long way. Don't mess up now. It will get better. One day you'll be so glad you stuck it out. I lost a good friend(early thirties) to oral cancer...
