ha funny. im not gettin one but it does sound great.. its not a microhen insert cause they also came out with another double reed called the macrohen which is the double reed version of the microhen. it also sounds great but i liked the alpha2 better.

I'm sure the call sound fine...but given it's resemblance to a microhen I'll never give it a shot.... sorry, I just REALLY don't like the microhen...not my cup of tea.

yeah, not all calls fit all callers style, and the microhen just turned me off.... i might could've tuned it up a bit, but I just didn't care for any ones I've blown....

im actually not very partial to the microhen as much but this call was nothing like a microhen. sure the have the same shape but to me they didnt sound alike... the macrohen is a double reed version of the microhen. the Alpha2 is a whole different animal.

the one i blew was almost a mix of an old style and a daisy cutter turned double reed... im tellin you it was sick.
