Pitfall...My 2006 BBB has the Trojan 145 batteries. Later BBB went to Crown which is cheaper lessor battery. New BBB i heard are going back to the Trojan 145 which are the best and longest lasting 6volt according to those in the business. So lenght of ride really boils down to how much electricity your pulling and those electric carts that stay in constant 4 wheel drive use up more than the ones you can switch over to 2 wheel drive. Steath claims to go 45 miles+ with their closed cell batterys...i do not know .. My BBB will go 36+ miles on dry camp roads.....but it will go about 6 miles in constant muddy camp road. ( tires spin too much).....as far as power...the BBB 2006 and older have 180 lbs of torque.........no one else has that..it was too much power and they started twisting axles especially those with spacers......OK with this said............i'm going to do a 180 degree turn on you............DO NOT BUY a BAD BOY BUGGIE............the company is the WORST about takin care of their customer based on my personal experience....If you own or work for BBB and do not like this statement ,please PM me and i can go further with this...The problems i had with BBB were finally answered by a guy off another forum in Monroe ,La who works on them everyday. .........ok i'm off subject...if you want range...buy a cart that can switch from 4 wheel to 2 wheel drive and with Trojan 145 batteries..BUT muddy roads will sux range.
