I got a boomer stand and have used it a few times this year already. It is ten times the stand the ruff stand is. It is very stable once fastened to the tree unlike the ruff stand that shakes and flips over every retrieve. The only thing I am not crazy about is the four holes on the stand close to the tree, looks like a dogs leg could get hung in one very easily. I am going to do some work on mine to fix that little problem. iIt is light, easy to carry, and simple to attatch to a tree. I say it is an 8 out of 10.

Just wondering (IF'N) you have to strap the P.O.S. ruff stand to a tree ! Why not just get the Boomer ? Its smaller , easy to carry and either way your gona strap it to a tree !

Or get a SPORT STAND

last chance to trade anyone for this ruff stand...btw, the ruff stand works great for a 35 lb female, full grown little witch...not so stable for a big dog..

A $30 card table from Wal Mart would make a better tv table than Ruff stand. Except guys on the internet at Waterdog will tell you that "you ain't a hardcore hunter" if you dump the ruff stand.... And you can't kill ducks with a dog wearing a blue e-collar strap....and other pearls of deep wisdom.

Since I was stupid enough to pay what this Ruff stand costs, I will use it until it's wiggly legs work no more. As for the witch, she's going nowhere! Love that little thing! CC, you are welcome to borrow Missi anytime you want to. You drive her much better than her owner...
