ALL!!!!
It is where the Patuxent Wildlife Research Center is.

There are several different types of bands used on wild birds in North America. Each type of band is made in many different sizes so that every bird has a suitable size band available for use by banders. Bands provided by the Bird Banding Laboratory are made of aluminum and inscribed CALL 1-800-327 BAND and WRITE BIRD BAND LAUREL MD 20708 USA followed by a unique 8 or 9 digit number. The older bird bands had the legend AVISE BIRD BAND WASH DC. These bands are from the same agency as the new bands and can be reported on the 1-800 telephone number or to Laurel MD.

Apparently yall dont comprehend what you read then!! My last few posts were addressing the questions (What makes me so sure?, I have several ducks with bands from Laurel MD)

I was just stating that that is where the fed bands are made! And that most ducks are banded elsewhere, therefore you need to call in the number or look it up on the internet! Then some of instagaters started running your mouth. Some of you boys might want to quit rolling so much, sounds like most of you puff puff toke, instead of puff puff pass! The lack of brain cells is starting to show!!

Who the frack let all these all knowing newbies in here this season? Gahd, we're absolutely covered up with em this year. DUX, from what I can tell, you are the only one that thought he meant the duck was banded in MD.

Lead is illegal to shoot migratorian bird, u must use lead. Don't wear orange hat or the fowl will see. Nothin wrong with wal mart camo, but bet u have a hard time borrowing a shotti from DIB!

Your certificate will come from bird band but your check will come from the bander itself. This may take a while! Seems like the last one I got took 4 months to get the check. Certificate was there within a week. I killed the duck Jan 1 in South Washington county and it had been banded 5 months earlier in Vancouver, Washington and was still to young to fly when banded! I thought that was just amazing that a duck less than a year old would come across 2 different flyways in route south.
