This one works GREAT.
Cabelas (I think) about 10 years ago.
Has a fleace inner linning to keep it from itching.

the photo may not show it, but the "nose flap" is open for your nostrils.

God Bless you

This gives warmth for face, neck and head. I have a drab green one but can't find anything other than black on their site. Only where this when its really cold and on 4wheeler or in boat.

A good, cheap tobagan (sp?)

FWIW, the Avery fleece nack gaiter with the nylon hoodie works better than anything I have found, couple that with a mesh turkey hunting mask and it is perfect...

I wish I could find one with a cut out for the ears.. I hate the masks for deer hunting cause you can't hear with those things on.

I second Farmer83on the under armor....I have one in dark brown......it is warm and you can pull it down around your chin when duck calling or talking......very warm. I only wear it when it is 'COLD' or it will burn you up........I also have a dark green carhartt bogan like in his post as well....it is a great combination....

Used it in AR on Dec 10, 11 when it was 18F.

I looked at the under armour one but I don't like not having an opening for the mouth for calling.

scary...I'm kidding. Thanks for the suggestion. I have one of these and like it fine sitting in the pit but it's not very warm or windproof riding the 4 wheeler in or in the boat.

so I am trying to decide between these two
http://www.shopatron.com/products/produ ... 99.0.0.0.0?
http://www.mackspw.com/Item--i-UND4503S

Pros of the drake: camo, mouth hole for calling, slightly cheaper
Pros of the UA: Possibly warmer?,

Cons of drake: not as warm?,
Cons of UA: more expensive, doesn't come in camo, no mouth hole

Any suggestions? i'm terrible at making suggestions. I want maximum warmth but don't like not having face camo (i know black would suffice)

They come in camo. I have been wearing one for 3 years now and love it. Even use it early in turkey season when it's cold.

well i looked at macks pw catalog and they are in there in camo. But, they no longer have them on the website in camo or on under armours website in camo. I just figured they discontinued them.
Splash em, how warm is it? I want the warmest mask i can get.

you will not go wrong with the UA......good thing about it is it easily slips under your chin when calling and then back up when you are not......

Its as warm as any facemask I've ever worn, but, and this is probably its greatest attribute in my book, its made of thin material that is tight. That means when you look to the side, it moves with you instead of leaving you wishing for one of the earholes cwink mentioned to look out of. Also the thin part means that it takes up less space in your blind bag than fleece or knit and folds easy to stow in a pocket.
