The kid has a degree, going to make 150 to 300 thousand in signing bonus, if he makes a team league min is 300,000. Very few of you boys on this site had that offer staring at you when you left college.

Snead will be drafted in the first 3 rounds. Some team will take a chance on him.

first... the job would have been his agains next year... there's a reason he started over stanley all year.. because he is the best option and knows the offense.

second... next year will be a repeat of this year, replacing offensive linemen and wide receivers... there's no guarantee that his numbers would improve greatly..... there's 11 guys on offense....

third... has other reasons for going on and declaring

fourth... has been told by multiple people that he will go in the third round, which ain't a bad paycheck at all, i'd venture to say more than most of you arm chair quarterbacks make ;)

I heard on AM560 this morning that John Parker Wilson is the Falcons 3rd string QB and is mainly a clip board holder. I am sure he makes good $$$ holding that clipboard. I am no fan of Snead but he could surely do the job Wilson is doing. I think he is making the right move. He still has some stock left on Kipher's list. Take what signing dollars he can, make the team and hold the clipboard, hang around for 5-8 years making good money. I did not see Snead but on 2 or 3 occasions on TV. My opinion was that his stats were hurt just as much from receivers dropping balls as making bad throws. I am sure a Rebel whom saw every play will have a better take on this.

i have heard that about the financial issues too. i have also heard that alot of nfl scouts still like snead because of his arm strength. he needs to find a good qb coach and work on that head of his and make smarter plays because he has the arm to be a good qb
