Thats kind of a trend fashion thing too Just got to realize it aint magic. Look up the Law of Attraction. It basically means if you think good thoughts , good things will happen to you So if you think the bracelet will work it will. ........I dont believe it, but my mom got me one and im gonna wear it. Besides , its the In thing. :D

i went in just looking and picked up some decoy weights and cord. then perused the aisles and aisles of overhyped schwag in the deer section (it was like a train wreck, i couldn't look away from the wild marketing claims on the stuff "you can't kill that monster buck deer without"), then looked at some scopes through the case ....got ready to check out and noone seemed too concerned about me as i stood at the counter by the register for a few minutes, waiting for one of them walking by to come over to take my $$, so i put it back and left - it was getting to the point that i was going to be late for my appt if i stayed too much longer. as i walked out, all the employees i had seen walking through the outdoor dept were all in the front entrance watching 2 other guys re-stacking bags of deer corn or smoking out front. didn't acknowledge me on the way out or seem to care i was there to begin with, so i doubt it hurt their feelings that i didn't make a purchase.

*i guess i didn't explain it completely in the original post....it wasn't because of anything on the shelves.

Dutch Dog wrote:YEARS ago....many MANY years ago (when I was like 14) I bought one of those deer suckers.

were they hot cinammon flavored? About 15 years ago, i was working at a rental store that had storage buildings. Apparently a guy had been storing a deer attractant / hunter candy during the summer months. Well end of july he stops making payments and we start the no pay process. After you send a person 3 registered letters telling them to come pay, and so many days after thier last payment the property is yours. Well we open the door and the smell hit us, just hot cinnamon. It took me about 3 days to clean it all out, since it basically had blocks of it melted together. We took some of it the woods and apparently something likes cinnamon cause it was gone after 2-3 weeks.

btw, i tried some of it, and thought this is the worst crap ever, no wonder he left it behind, how could he sell it?

Actually not that useless! I got drawn for a unit in Wyoming a few years ago and the day I left I came down with a TERRIBLE cough. I sounded like I was trying to expel my lungs, and it was non stop. I stopped at Cabela's in SD on the way out and bought a cough muffler and it worked like a charm!

As far as useless crap goes....one time I bought some of those scent things that look like incense . I have a bleat can, but that's primarily for my own entertainment. I was given a bedded doe decoy once and it scares the snot out of anything that comes near it. I know there's more, but that's all that comes to mind right now.
