My 8 year son shot his first deer this weekend with the Remington Manage Recoil 140 gr core lock. he shot the gun ( CVA Scout 7 mm 08) in the vise 1 shot. of coarse gun didn't kick in the steel vise...then 3 hours later , doe walked out,he practice snap on deer, asked for a bullet and then Boom! Never said anything about the recoil
