i not sure how hard it is to get. we are just getting a few bags to try. we get it already packaged in 5# bags. last year sweet G90 was $45.

i am mistaken, we are carrying SweetG90, Bodacious, and Incredible. we will not have Obsession. all our sweet corn will $45 this year.

we sell g90, merit, silver queen, peaches and cream, and POSSIBLY obsession at our store. As to why some are hard/harder to find... like everything else, garden seed availability depends on the weather and demand. It used to be easy to find farmers to set aside land to grow garden varieties, however, with crop (soybean/corn) prices being up the past few years, alot of the ground that used to go into pinkeye purplehulls, "new" corn varieties, etc. are in beans/field corn; not to mention, obsession costs nearly twice what peaches and cream,merit,g90 cost if i'm not mistaken. Just the nature of the beast.

Obsession does cost more but it that much better in my opinion. My wife told me that i had to find some more seed b/c she did not want that other corn.

I ate a lot of sweet G90 last year and it was fine. However like I said I am wanting something different. I may try this obsession. It better be damn good or somebody's gettin' their booty whooped.

Also gonna grow some Ghost Chiles and Naga Viper Chiles. The Naga Viper supposedly unoffically beat out the Ghost Chile by 100,000 or so scovilles. The Ghost is official at over 1 million scovilles; to sum it up the next hottest was around 500,000! Anything unusual anyone is growing?

I saw those in my seed bank catalog. Supposedly they're getting to be harder and harder to find. My grandmother gave me a giant okra last year that someone in her church got from a distant relative. I cannot find it anywhere. Its not one of the typical looking giant okras it looked more like a cucumber except a 14 inch cucumber. It was on okra lovers dream. 2 inch thick slices pan fried. Damnation it was good. I regret like hell not keeping any seeds.

Are you creaming the corn or leaving it on the Cob. If you don't like it I will come get it. The Obsession is a super-sweet variety.
