well i hunt public wmas and that is really my only source of hunting i can get... i don't have funds to pay 2500or 3500 to join a club.... family comes first.... so if they do away with wmas then they will do away with my hunting... now that would suk

have you called your state representative in Jackson about this? i know a couple there that would be real helpful.

As far as I am concerned, every dollar of MS Duck Stamp money ought to be spent on the breeding grounds...Without nest success, there are no birds to hunt...Its called "STARTING AT THE BEGINNING"...

Exactly how that money is spent- habitat protection and restoration or habitat maximization (predator control, nesting boxes, etc) is subject to debate but why spend a single penny of duck stamp money in MS when the nesting grounds are not secure?
