What do you guys think about the land b/w the YBW levee and east of 61? How much water are we thinking and where will the wildlife go? Do you guys think the water will get all the way to 61 on the west?

Wildlife! Who cares about the wildlife? I want to know what impact the flood will have on the supply of Hoover's Sauce?

I live on the east side of the state close to the Alabama line so I don't know a whole lot about what you all are talking about. I was wondering if there are any of those high fence deer farms in the flooded areas?

The animals will return. It will take at least 3 - 5 years IMHO before we see the harvest numbers increasing to pre2011 flood type numbers. We are already a little behind because it has only been 3 years since the '08 Flood..... which did hurt the deer population between the levee and the river.

I reckon this'll move the black bears around a little too. Anybody seeing any movement out of them?

Approximately 80 killed since yesterday. East levee and river road side.

Haven't even thought about them. What is the expected impact on the bears in the south Delta?

When they've looked at the GPS maps in the past.........the bears have remained in place. They climb a tree.....when they run out of food they swim to another tree. At least that's what appears the case.
