Went into bass pro this weekend to buy a scope and they had an APEX in .270. I asked what the price was and he scanned in at $399.88. I have priced these in quite a few different places and this is about $150 less than the lowest I have found. So I bought it along with 4x12x40 nikon prostaff.

The guy bore sighted it for me and said that it should be "on the paper." Well after I moved it down 15in and right 4in it was sighted in. Hopefully I can get in the woods with it this weekend but so far I like how it shoots and feels. I dont think I could ever justify the $500 difference between the APEX and the Pro Hunter.

$500 difference??! Not sure where you were lookin to find a T/C for $900, but you can buy them from Marks outdoor in Birmingham all day long for $499! Just bought one myself last month and absolutely love it!

They were pretty much all gone last week when I was looking but that can change from day to day. What caliber you lookin for? I can put in a search request for one. Also what finish you need? Stainless, weathershield, or blue?
