Yeah I am a hospital administrator...the ones that fire the nurses that were drilled everyday all week...I just walked down the hall and asked our in house attorney. He said that's a pretty grey area...because it depends whether he was on duty, whether it was common knowledge, what details were revealed....basically he said that would be a tough battle.

He had a hard time following when I said, well this guy Hammer, screwed up and said something to Snot about some brothers accident where they fell out of a treestand....and now theyre all suing eachother....and oh yeah this is all on the internet. But back to the task at hand....I just wanted to point out that theres a large amount of holes in suing that EMT for a HIPAA violation.

back to the regular scheduled program sorry

They made it sound like he just acted out of good faith. That he wasn't dispatched...but I don't know.

that hipaa stuff is gonna be grey but when you go using people's first and last names, where they live, and their health status and treatment, thats when hipaa plays in. defintely something not to be talking about ,none the less when it comes to things of this nature. plus, to not have the savy to not mention it on a public board is down right crazy

+1. I hate the fact that everything in this world has come to money, sueing, and shooting people. Why can't people just take/give an old fashion @ss whooping and move on about their business. i've never held a grudge after taking or giving an @ss whooping. It seems to soothe things so to speak b/t two disturbed souls. just my 2cents.

+1, but the world will never get back to that. if 2 people ever do decide to slug it out, the loser usually comes back down the road and retaliates with a weapon or pressing charges

Lets do it like KA fight night? Set it up at an arena, serve cold brews and sammiches, have an entry fee, invite some honeys and sport some wool for the ringside beautification, money goes to a worthy cause, fixining disc's and such, or to this here forum, or to someone who has an illness or something.
