Just looked at some video of Martin. He's uses his fastball more than anything else.

That miller kid hit 2 bombs on Florida this year...
Florida threw a kid both times against them with a 4.86 era they beat him once and lost once

Yeah, and if we win, we will play on espn2 Saturday.
If the game is blacked out on espn3, download and run HotSpot Shield. It will hide you ip location and allow the video to run. Also, you'll be asked for your internet provider. Use ATT and it should work.

Well it's official and just as I said. Samford is saving Martin for game 2.
We should not pitch Stratton game 1.
Also, FSU is going with their #3 guy vs UAB.

I think Samford knows they will get beat game 1 and want to save their ace for a as sure as it can
be win in game 2??? Or are they thinking our hitting is that bad that they can throw number 2 guy?
number 2 guy for Samford has a 3.95 ERA next guy has a 5.66

I say Graveman (if healthy) or Woodruff. I bet most of these teams are saving their top guys for Game 2. I know I'd want my ace going against the top team in the regional in a winner's bracket game. Samford isn't conceding game 1 going with their #2 guy. He's not shabby at 9-2.

Interesting on these pitching decisions.
I do not think the small park at FSU is as a big a concern as some of the reporters are saying. We will hit some long balls there I believe. Slaughter has hit a lot of balls hard this season, warning track type balls at DNF. Porter due, Renfroe and Rea can lose one. We may hit several. Especially if they are throwing the fastballs and not the breaking stuff...HAHA.

Balls fly out to right there, and our right handed hitters are majority pull guys. Only lefty we got with pop is Porter.

Looking at their schedule Martin almost always pitched game 2
