I must say you boys who love to talk down to folks from MS really amuse me. Some of us have a little pride and honor. We were born, raised, and live here. So, we support and love our schools and their teams.

You obviously suffer from "short" comings in some form...and this makes you bitter. I'm sorry you have such personal problems. If it makes you feel better to jump on a thread that doesn't concern you and call MSU lower teir and cellar dwellers, please keep it up. We want you to get some help with your problems.

SEC Western Division Championships 95, 98, 02

Ha! How many of those times did you win the SECCG?

Hell, the only reason you went in 2002 was because Bama was on probation...we won the West. Ark won by default.

Guys, I'll lay off the MS schools...Croom is a good man, but jury is still out on the coaching. But how in the world an Arkansas fan can come on here and talk trash?!?!?

Arkansas is the king of selective statistics. (ex. 98-03) Are you kidding me?

Thats cute gumbo, but buckle up. Its gonna be a long season.

I think Coach Croom will turn the program around. I would like to see all teams in the SEC do good (except for Auburn) because it shows that we have the toughest conference in the nation.

Geaux Tigers!

I think Coach Croom will turn things around in the near future. I don't think it will be this year. If we win 4 or 5 game this season I think most will consider it a big improvenent.

I hope he turns it around! It can't go much further in the direction it's been going the last 3 years! I'd love to see us break even this year, but I don't know if it'll be that good or not. I think it CAN, but we'll have to get some breaks too. LSU will be strong. To make matters worse, we have to play them at Death Valley. Auburn is still going to be pretty stout too, we play them on TV this year, so I'm hoping we play them good so we might can gain some respect. We picked up Florida again this year, they're never any slouch. Kentucky and Vandy will probably be the best chances for an SEC win. Arkansas is always unpredictable....they lose easy games and win hard ones.....you never know what will happen with them. Bama is usually a pretty good game, but it's in Tuscaloosa this year, so I figure it'll be an "L" on the board, then we always have Ole Piss....Eli Eli OH is gone, so we'll have to see what Spurlock has, but that's another one of those games you can never predict, except for last year....everyone knew what was going to happen....don't know why I sat out in that mess for as long as I did!

The off conference games of Maine, Tulane, and UAB will be interesting as well. I don't know anything about Maine.

Doesn't UAB's coach have MSU ties? Seems like I remember hearing his name pop up when searching for coaches or something....

I could handle 4 or 5 wins easily,...as long as they look like a football team in the process !

But,....... Basketball season is "always", just around the bend at State !

And that's always good !

98 was HDNs first year as coach to reference the stats, please don't get me started about Bama, ya'll pay 200, 000 to a Memfrica prep coach this year? Lets not even get into the fact that Lets not even get into the fact that Ark is 4-2 at Tuskalooser since joining the SEC and 6 -6 since joining the SEC, thats domenence huh, the best that money could buy? The best thing that Bama fans can do is to realize that the BEAR is dead. To you MSU fans it can only get better  To the Ole Miss folks, now that Manning is gone, good luck, you'll need it.

Gumbo,

Hmmm....I'm thinking back to a certain rainy night in Oxford last fall...Matt Jones couldn't break the Ole Miss defense, neither could good ole C-4. The Hog defense couldn't stop Eli and the special teams had no answer for Nichols. So even though you're only returning ONE starter from that game, you're predicting a sweep of MS schools this year? That's rich. Hell, I give State a decent chance against y'all this year. Only time will tell.

Thats right! And in the grand scheme of things, what has he won? Any NCs? Any SECCGs? Please come talk to me when anyone recognizes him outside the state of Arkansas. Oops, wait...Nebraska recognized him. After this season, he'll wish he would have gone. BTW, nice move mocking the Texas fans last year with the upside down 'hook em horns' routine. I expect nothing less from that clown. Payback is hell.

please don't get me started about Bama

Please do. You are obviously new here and I'd hate to waste my time going back and searching all the posts I've made explaining how Alabama is SEC football, and Arkansas is second tier and at best lucky just to be in the conference.

ya'll pay 200, 000 to a Memfrica prep coach this year?

Your numbers are wrong. Your year is wrong. And in case you haven't noticed, there is a lot of legal procedings going on right now to dispute this. Stay tuned. Until then, I have never been one to deny we did anything wrong. We are paying the price now. But we are still Alabama and you are Arkansas. A bad day in Tuscaloosa is a better than a great day in Fayettville. (Fayeteville---- What a dump.
By the way, nice racial jab at Memphis.

Lets not even get into the fact that Ark is 4-2 at Tuskalooser since joining the SEC and 6 -6 since joining the SEC, thats domenence huh, the best that money could buy?

Ahh yes, a double whammy. Another example of selective statistics and the "best money can buy" routine! Sugar coating meaningless information and making excuses for our success.

The best thing that Bama fans can do is to realize that the BEAR is dead.

I realize you just starting posting here, but if you get bored, go back and check every post I have made re: AL football and notice that I have all but never use Coach Bryants name or success. I like to talk about what have you done lately. So since you like selective statistics, go back and check your trophy case since Bear passed away and see how empty it is compared to ours.

Do you wear one of those plastic pig hats on your head?

8-4 all time.....3-3 since your beloved Nutt has been there, and your lucky to have 2 of those. Again, where are the trophies?

I can debate stats with you all day. You will lose that battle. Bottom line, Arkansas shouldnt even be in the same room with Bama when talking of accomplishments on the field. Are we going through tough times now, sure! I am not that naive. But thats why we are Bama and you are Arkansas. We could suck for 20 years and you still couldn't catch up.

See you in Fayettecrap this fall. Good luck with one returning starter...you're sure gonna need it.
