I work with a bunch of MSU guys & jokingly asked one today if they were going to roll out the 10 & 0 campaign this week & he looked at me like I had 2 heads & informed me very firmly that there was no "we believe" this year. He said WE KNOW!

So there ya go

10 & Oh....WE KNOW!

I think if most State fans answered honestly then they would say that we are cautiously optimistic. We KNOW State can win this game. They have the players, and the leadership to play with them. Will our performance reflect that? Who knows. These are players with an average age of 20-21, so who knows what's gonna happen. I feel much better this go around than I did in 2012. I don't believe they will walk in and take it, but if they can control AL passing game, then they can control the game I believe. Part of that is getting sustained drives and letting our defense rest... too many three and outs kills defenses... Alabama's included. So, can we come home with a win? You bet. Will we? Who knows.

I know one thing, I hope Bamas players are watching every media outlet possible right now, cause none of them are even talking about State winning this game. If the Bama team is overlooking us like the rest of the world then I believe they are in for a surprise. I would think that it might be hard to take serious or get up for a team that hasn't beaten Bama since 07, when all of these players were in junior high. But like I said, we are talking about 20-21 year olds.... Who knows what they are gonna do.

If state can stop the pass which it hasn't been able to do well then state should win. If the Blake that showed up this past Saturday, shows up in the same form then state wins easily. He couldn't hit any receiver till the end of the game. If state doesn't do stupid crap like muff punts or crazy stupid interceptions and plays clock management then they should do very well. The only thing that concerns me with this team is the secondary. The positive is I don't Beleive Simms is that good of a passer. If state can wear down the defense and run the ball it should be a good game for them. But the way the sec has been lately I don't count anything out!!!!

I think most true State fans that have been fans since the 80s and before realize that the chances of them winning this game are almost at 0%. They know it in their core being, they just want it so bad not to be true.

I will be pulling hard for the Bulldogs the rest of the season, but I just don't see them winning this game. To that end, I think it is more likely they get beat so badly that they fall out of the Top 4 than it is likely they beat Alabama in Tuscaloosa.

Alabama is beatable. They havent shown me enough to say they are "the" team to beat. Blake Simms isnt a perfect QB. I wouldnt call the dogs losers just yet.

The are beatable, because they have been beaten. However, at home they have average 300+ yards more than their opponents, whereas on the road they have average like 30 yards more than their opponent. They are MUCH better at home. State's only impressive road win came against one of the worst LSU teams in 15 years.

Look, I am pulling for State and hope they win the whole deal, not just the weekend, but Bama is built for games like this one. They know if they win, they are likely going to win the west and make the playoff. If they are the only SEC team in the playoff, they also know they will win it all. Bama does not lose games they truly focus on under Saban very often at all. This will not be any different.

Personally, I am not sure who wins this game. I think it could go either way.

But I can tell you that DM77 is as good as picking games as anyone on this board. He's predictions are much more often right than wrong.

So, I certainly like his outlook.

There is no arguing that they are a much better team at home..

....But let's look at who they have played at home: Florida, Southen Miss, Florida, and Texas A&M

They havent played as good on the road mosly due to the quality of their opponents: West Virginia, Ole Miss, Arkansas, Tennessee, and LSU

This will be the toughest test for either team this year. Im pumped!

Amen to that! I don't think anyone has spoken more truth! I know I wont sleep good tomorrow night just for being anxious and ready to head to Tuscaloosa Friday. I hope everyone that goes to the game has a pleasant experience and is able to avoid any d-bag fans.

Maybe I'll see some of y'all at Wings for dinner Friday night.

We might get clobbered, this weekend, but I'm pulling for this very special bunch of MS State kids:

MSU 24 - Bama 13
If that happens, I won't shoot at the first group that comes the next time we hunt! If Bama wins, I expect you to the same! Enjoy y'alls time in T-town! It's gonna be a cold one!!
