I was just stiring the pot and yes Bum, I'd be glad to come have a cold one with they guys on here. If they will allow me to after I stired up so much do do. Anyway, I hope all you guys had a hell of a season and I hope you all fille your fishing boats with large numbers of fish. I really was just messing.

As bad a year as it has been there is not a damn guy on here that will let a greenheaded duck lite in your dekes and not fire a shot at him. And if you say that you do you are a lier!
Well most men have lied in their life and I’m no exception.
But tell me Greenheadmachine? How can you say that when you were not there?
How bad was last season for you? I hunted with more than one person on this forum and never removed my gun from the case in order for them to have all the shooting. And shooting is what they had when others were crying the blues just as you are now. I can’t count how many birds I never shoot and just watch. I know it is hard for some to understand but I will gladly share some pictures of ducks sitting on the water mixed with my decoys if that will help you to understand that many people are not just out for the kill but much more and I hope one day you reach that point.
So, Is this all of the delta or you. 300 ducks divided by 60 days is 5 per day. That is a some damn good duck hunting on public land..... with 2 guys and most days.
No actually it is four of us. Since we are a club we keep count of who kills what regardless of how many members were hunting that day. You call that good hunting but I can tell you that in years past our club has killed over 900 in one season. We keep great records of our hunts.
300 is a poor year by our standards in numbers but a great year in keeping the want-to-be’s at bay. To a couple of us a mallard limit is enough and many times this season I left the marsh when I reached that goal in an attempt to leave the others to rest and imprint.
You may have just been stirring the pot and that is fine many do, Myself included.
However I post the journal logs because many of these guys ask me to. I could really care less what most think of them as I do this for myself and children so that one day when I can no longer hunt I will have the logs to reread and bring the memory of times past back to me.
The one thing that you should understand is that many of us have met and know each other, When you talk the talk you better be able to walk the walk or you will be exposed real quick.
And as Ant stated earlier in another post I have so very little to prove and simply will not waste my time doing so.
Have a good summer and make an MSDucks meeting, You might find that you’ll like a bunch of these knotheads. I know I do….

I really agree with you duckmen and I know that stiring the pot gets some panties in a wad. I was just messing. Why are there some people on here that can and some that can't get in the duckhole gang. Or do I have to come to a msducks meeting to be able to.
I agree with you on the journals and I think it is a great idea to keep up with them and be as thorough as possible. They will really be great to look back on and remember the wonderful times that you and your friends had in your youth. So, from now on I'm not going to stir any pots or step on any toes and maybe one day I'll get invited on a duckhunt that actually kills ducks.

That is a private forum put together for those that want to go into a site and talk about what ever comes to mind. It is an adult site...
If you want to be a member to that site you simple request it from Micah and he will add you to the group.
Just be yourself man and not worry about what others think. You will see from time to time that we all get into the stirring mode.. When you know a bunch of these boys it is hard not to want to yank their chain now and then.
We all get over it.. After all it is only the internet and nothing here is ever going to change your life for the better or worse.

Hey MS, I've only been hunting about 3 years now, and the things you write about are something I hope to experience as time goes on. I wish you had a way to post all your journal entries if you desired to share them. I want to read all of them. Makes me wish I had started hunting and the outdoors before I was close to forty.

Well now that yall have him striaghtened out, I must say that I am a bit of a reader. Some do some don't. It doesn't mater which you are, but as one that has read alot, Duckmans writing just puts me right there with him as though I was on the hunt and that is the measure of an artist. It would not matter if it was fiction or not, but as I hunt alone a lot I kind of think it is the real deal.
Keep it up MSDuckman, I love your stuff and since Bum kinda hinted about the teal shoot this next season in an earlier post, maybe I will be lucky enough to come and meet you in person.

I teared up reading that - There's nothing like the experience and giving the credit to God for creating it.

No dude. THAT is my boat in the pic on my avatar. Do not need to jump in a boat with the river so high as I work on a 410' ship!

HAHAHEHE And I have been in on the MSDUCK socials at OVPC (and Buffalo Wild Wings before that) And I had to help some of the boys put old Dan to bed before the teal hunt after he made bubbles all night! And DAMN sure had to get his booty rousted out when the alarm went off as, "Friends do'nt let friends miss a hunt."
